Best Christmas Mocktails

Looking for easy Christmas mocktail recipes with plenty of festive flavours? Add some non-alcoholic sparkle to your Christmas party menu with these simple and delicious mocktails and creative non-boozy drinks options that the kids and designated drivers can enjoy.

Pear & Rose Punch

Treat party guests to our fabulous pear, apple and rose mocktail. Garnish the punch bowl with redcurrants to make a stunning alcohol-free drink.

Ingredients:

1 litre pear juice
1 vanilla pod
1 tbsp golden caster sugar
4 cardamom pods
few slices root ginger
25ml raw apple cider vinegar
½ tsp rosewater
250ml sparkling water
ice
rosemary sprigs, to garnish
thyme , leaves picked, to garnish
sliced red pear, to garnish
handful frozen redcurrants, to garnish

Method:

Pour the pear juice into a large pan. Add the vanilla pod, golden caster sugar, cardamom pods and root ginger, then bring to a simmer. Leave to cool completely, then strain into a punch bowl or jug.

Add the raw apple cider vinegar, rosewater and sparkling water. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, thyme, sliced red pear and a handful of frozen redcurrants. Add ice and serve.

 

Passionfruit & Elderflower Spritz

Serve guests this stylish passionfruit and elderflower spritz, it's fruity, fizzy and very festive.

Ingredients:

50ml passion fruit juice
25ml lemon juice
2 tsp elderflower cordial
150ml sparkling water
1 tsp passion fruit seeds (optional), to serve

Method:

Make sure all the ingredients are well chilled before you start. Ideally chill a flute glass too. Pour all of the ingredients into your glass, taking your time when you add the sparkling water so it doesn’t overflow, then stir gently. Drop in a few passion fruit seeds to garnish, if you like.

 

Non-alcoholic Mulled Tea Punch

This is a take on kinderpunsch, a non-alcoholic German drink served as an alternative to glühwein.

Ingredients:

2 hibiscus tea bags
1 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
5 cloves
2 cardamom pods
4 orange slices
120 ml orange juice
120 ml pomegranate juice, (pure, not from concentrate)
2 tbsp runny honey

Method:

Bring 500ml water to boil in a pan, add the tea bags and spices, and very gently simmer for 10 minutes, then add the orange slices and both juices, and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the spices and tea bags, and pour back into the pan along with the orange slices. Sweeten with honey to taste, then serve in glass mugs, with the orange slices.

 

Celebration Mocktail

The perfect non-alcoholic Christmas drink for a special occasion, this celebration mocktail is a blend of fruit juice, festive nutmeg and egg white.

Ingredients:

60 ml orange juice
30 ml lemon juice
25 ml cranberry juice
1 tsp caster sugar
1 egg white
a grating of nutmeg
orange peel to garnish

Method:

Put the lemon juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, sugar and egg white in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well for 15-30 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a coupe glass, grate over a little nutmeg, and garnish with some orange peel.
