FREE ONLINE THEATRE SHOWS

Is anyone missing enjoying a night out at the theatre?

We definitely are, however we have managed to find some amazing online theatre shows that are available for free (you can also make a voluntary donation).

The National Theatre, Sadler's Wells, Shakespeare's Globe and Andrew Lloyd Webber are all offering free shows via Facebook or YouTube. For more details please see below.

ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER MUSICALS

Andrew Lloyd Webber has launched a YouTube channel called The Shows Must Go On. Every Friday at 7pm for 48 hours they release a full length musical performance of one of his shows.

This Friday 24th April, the 2012 production of Love Never Dies starring Ben Lewis and Anna O’Byrne is the next show to be streamed. It is the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera and set 10 years later.

THE NATIONAL THEATRE

The National Theatre has launched National Theatre at Home. Every Thursday at 7pm for 7 days they release a full length theatre show on You Tube.

This Thursday 23rd April sees the release of Twelvth Night,  Shakespeare's whirlwind comedy of mistaken identity and unrequited love, featuring Tamsin Greig.

SADLERS WELLS

Sadler's Wells have put together a full length program of dance performances, the venue is sharing productions every Friday at 7.30pm which you can stream live on Facebook or watch for 7 days after.

This Friday 24th April they have An Evening with Natalia Osipova, the russian ballerina, which brings together three dance works which illuminate her incredible talent and versatility, from classical to contemporary.

SHAKESPEARE'S GLOBE

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is bringing Romeo and Juliet direct to you. This is a timeless classic, starring Ellie Kendrick and Adetomiwa Edun as the star-crossed lovers, filmed from Shakespeare’s most famous stage, the Globe Theatre.

It is available to view now on YouTube via the below link until Sunday 3rd May.
