COCKTAIL RECIPE - STRAWBERRY MOJITO

A twist on a classic mojito this week, with fresh British strawberries in season their sweetness and pretty colour offer a delightful alternative.

Strawberry mojitos are the perfect drink for a summer party on the patio or in the garden.

Happy cocktail creating!

50ml white rum
100ml sparkling water
1 tsp granulated sugar
2/3 strawberries
Wedge of lime
A few mint leaves
Ice

Muddle the strawberries, lime and sugar in a glass.
Bruise the mint leaves and add to the glass with a pinch of black pepper.
Add lots of ice and stir in the rum and sparkling water.
Decorate with a slice of strawberry and mint leaves if you like.
